Welcome to Feeling Sound’s 12 Soundscapes of Christmas!
12 daily gifts from us to you, for a 3 minute time out whenever and wherever you need it.
From himalayan singing bowls, gongs, crystal bowls. shruti box, monochord and more...the wonderful sounds of these beautiful healing instruments have been interwoven with nature filled soundscapes to help you soothe, calm and refresh.
Recorded, produced and mixed by Clare Savory. More about our in-person experiences and work at FeelingSound.co/Services
Day 1 · Refresh | Thursday 25th December (Christmas Day)
In need of a breath of fresh air? Sit back and enjoy the re-energising sounds of a lone Koshi Aqua chime, as a binaural seascape gently sweeps over you.
A few moments of space.
A gentle reset.
A chance to begin again.
Save this soundscape and return to it whenever you need to feel refreshed and grounded.
Day 2 · Peace | Friday 26th December
Take a moment to ground yourself with the stabilising sounds of crystal bowls.
Moving through harmonious musical intervals – the perfect 4th, 5th and the octave – these are sounds that soothe us deeply.
Like a sensory cuddle. A sonic antidepressant.
Allow yourself to be held, just for a few moments, amongst the chaos.
Save this for times when peace feels far away.
Day 3 · Calm | Saturday 27th December
We invite you to take a few minutes to enjoy a guided meditation, no experience necessary.
Allow the word calm to flow gently through your body and mind in this short guided practice.
When we repeat our mantras, silently or aloud, we can eventually become them.
Save this and return to it whenever you need a little more calm in your world.
Day 4 · Flow | Sunday 28th December
Today we explore binaural beats alongside the subtle music of nature. We invite you to lean into flow.
Listen closely to the flowing river – Longclough Brook has its own melodies if we take time to notice.
With binaural beats guiding the brain into alpha or theta states, we slow the mind, into flow, daydreaming, and deep rest.
Save this and gift yourself 3 minutes of healing stillness.
Day 5 · Pause | Monday 29th December
The monochord is known for its trance-inducing qualities.
As we soften our breath, loosen our shoulders and allow the heart rate to slow, we enter a space of rest.
A gentle tingsha bell will guide you back when it’s time.
Save this for moments when you need permission to truly pause.
Day 6 · Breathe | Tuesday 30th December
Today we tune into the breath, always present, no matter what’s happening around us.
This short guided meditation invites the body into the parasympathetic nervous system – a state of real rest and recovery.
Save this for whenever you need to slow down and come home to your breath.
Day 7 · Unwind | Wednesday 31st December (New Years’ Eve)
The continuous drone of the shruti box steadies and grounds us.
Held in the interval of a perfect 5th, often called a sonic cuddle, these sounds offer deep reassurance during challenging moments.
Let yourself be held for a while.
Save this for evenings when you need help unwinding.
Day 8 · Energise | Thursday 1st January (New Years’ Day)
Had a late one last night? Feeling lethargic? Shattered? Low in energy?
The resonant dong of Himalayan singing bowls offers an opportunity for an energetic reset.
Listen closely – to a blackbird and their distant friend singing near Dinting Viaduct.
Send this link to a friend who might need an energy boost too.
Day 9 · Clarity | Friday 2nd January
Crystal bowls are therapeutically recommended to steady a busy mind.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, struggling with your mental health, or simply needing a pause, this one’s for you.
With binaural beats resolving into a perfect 5th, we offer some gentle sonic petrissage for the mind.
Save this and return as often as you need.
Day 10 · Space | Saturday 3rd January
Today, we create space.
Let the wind through the trees and the low rumble of a gong clear away the cobwebs.
Make space for rest, reflection, and all that you dream into the year ahead.
Save this soundscape and welcome the New Year with space and intention.
Day 11 · Let Go | Sunday 4th January
A single held note is one of the most radical acts in music, especially in a world that tells us to do more, be more, have more.
Held at 174Hz, this solfeggio frequency is said to release pain and tension, this sound invites deep letting go.
Your body and mind will thank you.
Save this for when you need to release what you’re holding.
Day 12 · Gratitude | Monday 5th January
As our 12 Days of Christmas comes to an end, I want to say thank you.
For listening, for pausing, and for allowing sound to support you through the festive season.
We are grateful for the sounds that shape our lives,
the voices of those who love us,
the nature that surrounds us,
and the music that has the power to heal us, whatever we need on any given day.
We invite you to offer gratitude in this final guided meditation, and to carry this practice with you beyond Christmas.
If you’ve enjoyed these 12 Days of Christmas soundscapes and would like to explore more, all our sessions, events and information is here.
